What is Tasty Taboo?
Tasty Taboo is an intimate virtual ‘feast’ on a taboo topic that we will sink our teeth into and taste the flavors of through a lens of curiosity. Topic remains a mystery until feast day.
Who is Tasty Taboo for?
A maximum of 10 open-minded and curious individuals who are willing to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Why Attend Tasty Taboo?
In a world fixated on labelling experiences and people as right/wrong and good/bad, many of us have been conditioned into behaving a certain way, liking certain things, and avoiding the things we’ve been told are best swept under the rug.
What have you swept under your rug?
What has been eating you alive?
What are you so deeply ashamed of that you are afraid to let it leave your lips?
What are you lusting for?
What would you feast on if you knew no one would judge you?
What To Expect at Tasty Taboo!
Join 10 strangers, ahem, I mean curious beings for a titillating and delicious discussion as we feast on a taboo topic in a supportive space.
Of course, what is considered ‘taboo’ varies widely from person to person. General themes that might be explored include:
sex/sexuality/pleasure/kink/bdsm; death/dying/grief/pregnancy loss; money/power/greed; religion/church/spirituality and everything in between.
I am passionate about curating space for conversations that might be difficult or uncomfortable to have. By speaking openly about these topics, we can alchemize the negative charge and soften the shame, judgment and fear.
Playing off the Murder Mystery vibe and feeding into the taboo of the unknown, I will select a topic each month that will be revealed during the feast.
Active conversational participation is mandatory in order to attend, allowing you to be witnessed and find the power of your voice in community.
Bring a voracious appetite and be willing to get vulnerable.

The last Wednesday of each month from 6:30-7:45pm PST unless otherwise stated
Where is Tasty Taboo?
We will gather virtually using the Google Meet link which you will receive via email once you register.
Cost of Tasty Taboo?
Oh, yeah. It’s potluck style! Pay what you can and if you have the means, you can also choose to pay it forward for someone who would otherwise be unable to attend.
Dessert Tier: I require a stranger’s sweetness in order to be able to attend (free when someone has paid it forward) Please note, this option is only available when the plate has been filled. If no dessert is available, you can email me (hello@justinamay.com) to be added to the waitlist to claim the next available digestif (because this is based on other’s generosity, I cannot guarantee availability).
Digestif Tier: I am satiated and paying it Forward ($33 for a future attendee who would otherwise be unable to attend).
